Activity 2
Before you start packing your suitcase you will want to create a list of everything that you will need to bring with you. Most airlines let you bring one big suitcase with you so you’ll have to think carefully about what you want to bring…
On your blog site, post a list of everything that you need to pack for your trip. Put a star (*) beside the 5 items that you think are the most important.
The 5 important items I will need to take:
* A tooth brush and tooth paste
* A hair brush and hair ties
* Clothing ( Warm clothing and shoes )
* Maps
* Electronic device
Hi Mikaela,
ReplyDeleteWe're having a very snowy day today in the Ottawa area - just as the weather forecast has indicated. Children here are all dressed in snow suits, hats, mitts and boots and are taking their sleighs to school to play with them during recess time. It's warmer than usual so I'm afraid that some of the snow may melt by the end of the day. Meanwhile, it's a beautiful snowy day in Canada! I hope that you're having an equally beautiful summer day in Auckland! Perhaps you're going to a park or beach today to have some summer holiday fun. I hope so!
Hello Mikaela - I live near Ottawa too, and we are having more snow today, mixed with sleet, which is frozen rain. You will need very warm clothes to visit in this weather!
ReplyDeleteHi Mikaela,
ReplyDeleteIt looks like you're in for a cold time in Canada if you go at this time of year! I think I'm quite happy with our sunshine thank you very much. Have you ever been somewhere reeeeally cold like that before? I had soccer training once when it got down to -3 degrees, but that definitely wasn't in Auckland. That was not a fun day!
It looks like you'll be packing quite light for your trip! What kind of clothes do you think you will need to pack? I tell you what, I don't think you'll get very far if you don't remember to pop your passport in too. Oh and don't forget to take a little money for the trip too! Just in case you want to buy anything on the way :-) Good thinking packing a map though, Canada is a massive country so you might need a few of them I reckon.
Happy packing!
Dan.
