WELCOME TO TERM 4!!!

Welcome Back To My Blog. 

During the holidays I had done many things and below is one of the things that I did:

“Touch!” That was the final touch and all we needed to do was pass and score. As the other team spread across the tryline my team were in position waiting for the ball to be passed. I stood on the wing of the field waiting. I caught the ball with two hands then scored over the try line with one hand; I had scored the first try.

A while later the points increased and were now 9 - 9. The team who scored the last try won. I kicked the ball into the air and the opposing team caught it, running straight ahead. “Touch!” that was one. My team continued to play defense until they reached their final touch. Everybody spread out on the field and marked one person. I kept my eye on the ball and watched it fly from one person’s hands to another.

“TOUCH!” I had touched the owner of the ball. “Final touch!” yelled my Dad. My Aunty playing the opposite team ran straight then passed to my cousin Maea. He was playing the other side of the field where I was not. He sped past my uncle, stepped my cousin and then raced all the way to the end of the field. “Yeeyah!” he shouted with a huge smile on his face placing the ball over the tryline. “Ohhhh!” I sighed and laid flat on the field.

“Next time Kaela” my cousin said to me with a smirk on his face. I stood up and made my way back to the car..I had fun today.
