              Saint Pius X- Acrostic Poem.

This is my acrostic poem about Saint Pius X.

I learned that St. Pius was a faithful man that put people first before him self and our school parish was named after him that is why our school is named after him.

S	tudious through his life , from a young age walking 6 kilometres to school and back because his father valued education.
A	giving and loving person who gave away everything he had and kept nothing for himself.
I	interesting man who strongly believed in his Catholic Faith.
N	ever stopped helping, he lived his life helping the poor and spreading his faith.
T	ruthful and respected the work of the popes before him who were named St. Pius and showed this by choosing the name.
P	ope St Pius X was chosen and elevated in 1903 following the death of Pope Leo XII.
I	nspired man who believed people should receive Jesus daily and changed the law so that children could receive the Holy Eucharist younger.
U	nderstood and believed that all children, rich and poor, should be able to receive catechism.
S	acrosanct person who lived a humble life in service to his God.
X	Xenodochial to all people , especially the poor.
