Here in New Zealand, the prime minister of the country is the Honourable John Key. On your blog tell us what your three rules would be.
Answers:
#1. To always pick up the rubbish that you see lying around on the streets or outside your house nearby.
#2. Celebrate your birthday with your family and friends by having a birthday party at your favourite place.
#3. If you are a parent on Saturdays you must let your children have lollies.

Day 13: La, La, La...

31/12/2016.
Day 13 - Week 3

Although you had a very restful day yesterday watching TV you have woken up feeling quite tired. You decide to turn on the radio and listen to some music before you get up and get on with your day. When you turn on the radio, the first song that you hear is one by Justin Bieber, a musician from Canada.
Activity 1
Justin Bieber is arguably one of the most famous musicians in the world right now. He has had (#) of Number 1 hits, including the songs:
Watch the three videos. After you have finished watching them, rank them from #1 (best) to #3 (worst). On your blog, list the three videos in order from best to worst and tell us why you have ranked them in that order.
Answers:
#1 Love Yourself
#2 Baby
#3 Sorry
I put the song Love Yourself in the first best place because I thought that the video was interesting in the two peoples movements and how they were communicating with each other.
I ranked the song Baby as second because I thought it was a sweet song for teenagers finding their first love and I liked how they all had a dance battle.

Activity 2

Every year there is a huge music festival held in New Plymouth, New Zealand. It is called WOMAD. WOMAD stands for ‘World of Music, Arts and Dance.’ The festival began in 1980 and there are WOMAD festivals held every year in Australia, New Zealand, Chile, Spain, Italy and The United Arab Emirates. They attract singers and performers from all around the world. Imagine that you are on the WOMAD organising committee for next year. Which two musicians/bands would you invite to perform? On your blog tell us the names of the two musicians/bands and tell us a bit about them. Where are they from? What kind of music do they play?
Answers:
I would invite Beyonce and Stan Walker to perform. Beyonce is a very kind person, likes to try different things and she was also part of the group Destiny's Child as well as being the lead singer. Beyonce was from Houston, Texas, United States. She is known for playing a few kinds of music including R&B/soul, Pop, Bounce music, and Contemporary R&B.
Stan Walker is a singer and an actor, he has been a judge for shows including The X Factor and he did act in the New Zealand movie Hunt for the Wilder People. Stan Walker was from Melbourne, Australia and sings 2 types of music: Pop and R&B/soul.
Bonus Activity
There are literally dozens of different types (‘genres’) of music in the world, including classical, rock ‘n roll, Rhythm & Blues (R&B), pop, hip hop, rap, jazz, etc. Some musicians play on their own and some play as part of a band. Arguably, the most influential band of all time is The Beatles. They were a rock band from Liverpool, England.
Dozens of movies have been made about the band. The most recent was a documentary called ‘The Beatles: 8 Days a Week – The Touring Years.’ Watch the trailer for this movie.
After you have finished, tell us two things that you learned about the Beatles from watching this trailer. They can be any two interesting facts!
Answers:

1: One interesting fact that I learned about The Beatles was that they had always stayed together and made music making people happy.
2. Another interesting fact that I learned about The Beatles was that when they toured around the world and sang at concerts some of the girls would pass out or faint because of how much they loved them.

This television show is called Caillou and what I liked about the show was that he likes to be happy and enjoy himself. But what I didn't like about the show was that while Caillou wanted to stay outside it started to rain more and Caillou might have caught a cold or have otten sick. I also liked this show because I really liked the happy introduction music.
